| In composing this piece I was deeply concerned with the materials as they relate to the poetic scenario and I was interested in using the full space of the concert hall to articulate dramatic episodes. In this overlapping, overarching design the principals move to different stage positions as a new section of discrete poetic concerns is introduced.
